Federal Territories minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansur is also the Member of Parliament for Putrajaya. – The Malaysian Insider pic, February 8, 2015.All residents in the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan will be offered a "Komuniti Ceria" card to cope with the cost of daily necessities.Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said every registered member will receive discounts and reward points at some Mydin outlets nationwide."The 'Komuniti Ceria' card can be accessed online or through applications in smartphones and WP Apps Ceria," he told reporters after launching the "Komuniti Ceria Wilayah Persekutuan" programme at the Sogo Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur today.Meanwhile, when asked to comment on the refusal of traders at the Keramat Market to relocate to the Keramat Mall shopping complex, Tengku Adnan said the initiative to transfer them was taken by the government to change the face of the old dirty market to a clean and modern one.He said the Keramat Market area was covered with rubbish and had become a breeding ground for rats which can spread rat-borne diseases to the public."I wonder why people still want to go to Keramat Market. I am afraid they will be infected with leptospirosis (rat urine disease). The place is overriden with rats," he said.He added that the Keramat Market was almost 40 years old and it was time to move the market's location to a place with various other facilities which will not only serve the people but also does not interfere with the traffic. – Bernama, February 8, 2015.
